By accessing and placing an order on the above-mentioned websites, the customer expressly agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases, orders, deliveries, returns, and contractual relations between Caldor Heat Engineering SRL (the Seller) and the customer (the Buyer).
They apply exclusively. Any other conditions or contractual clauses are considered null and void unless expressly agreed in writing in advance by the Seller.
The version of the Terms and Conditions valid at the moment the order is placed shall apply.
By submitting an order, the Buyer confirms full, unconditional, and irrevocable acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Buyer is solely responsible for providing correct and complete contact details. Orders placed with incorrect email addresses or phone numbers may be canceled if communication with the Buyer is not possible.
2. Pricing and Currency Policy
Prices displayed on the websites listed above apply as follows:
For Romania
All prices are expressed and payable exclusively in RON (Romanian Lei).
For all other countries
All prices are expressed and payable exclusively in EUR (Euro).
USD (United States Dollar) is NOT accepted under any circumstances.
Payments in USD or any other currency are strictly refused.
No alternative currencies, cryptocurrencies, virtual currencies, or other payment units are accepted unless expressly approved in writing by Caldor Heat Engineering SRL prior to order confirmation.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed using an unsupported or unauthorized currency.
Unless otherwise specified, all prices are exclusive of VAT, where applicable under Romanian legislation.
Prices and product availability may be modified without prior notice, depending on supply conditions and market fluctuations.
3. Payment Methods
Payments are accepted only in the applicable currency defined above and may be made using the following methods:
Cash on delivery (Romania only)
Cash payment upon pickup at company premises
Bank transfer based on invoice or proforma invoice
For Special Orders / custom-made products, an advance payment of 50% of the total order value is mandatory.
An advance invoice or proforma invoice will be issued after order confirmation.
The order is considered valid only after receipt of the advance payment.
Special Orders may be canceled within 48 business hours from confirmation.
4. Delivery Policy
For products available in stock, delivery is performed within maximum 3 working days from order confirmation.
If a product is not available in stock, the estimated delivery time will be communicated by phone or email.
Delivery is performed by courier service and is made only to the building entrance address specified by the Buyer.
Products are not delivered inside residential or commercial premises.
Free delivery is not offered.
5. Return Policy
Products purchased remotely may be returned in accordance with Government Ordinance no. 130/2000 (O.G. 130/2000).
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase without penalties and without stating a reason within 10 working days from receipt of the product.
The withdrawal request must be submitted in writing to:
This right applies only to individual consumers and only to products delivered by courier.
Returned products must be in the same condition as delivered, including:
original packaging
all accessories
intact labels
accompanying documentation
Returns are accepted exclusively for standard products.
Custom products and made-to-order items cannot be returned except under the conditions specified below.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer.
The product value will be refunded within 5 working days from receipt of the returned goods.
If the returned product cannot be resold as new, Caldor Heat Engineering SRL reserves the right to deduct a reconditioning fee or the value difference.
At the Buyer’s request, the product may be returned at the Buyer’s expense.
6. Special Orders – Non-Returnable Products
Custom-made or Special Order products are not eligible for return.
A Special Order is defined as a product not normally available in stock and manufactured or supplied based on a firm order and advance payment.
This provision is applied in accordance with:
O.G. 130/2000, art. 2, lit. e
However, if the supplied product technically deviates more than 10% from the approved drawings or agreed specifications, the product may be returned.
The Buyer must notify:
within 48 hours of delivery, clearly specifying the non-conformity.
Dimensional tolerance limits apply. The Buyer may request either:
replacement of the product
refund of the product value
7. Engineering, Design and Order Cancellation
Special Order products may require engineering analysis, technical drawings and project preparation prior to manufacturing.
If the order is cancelled during the order stage, Caldor Heat Engineering SRL reserves the right to retain up to 50% of the total order value to cover:
engineering work
drawing preparation
technical service
project evaluation
The remaining balance will be refunded to the Buyer.
If the order does not proceed to production, the costs related to technical design and engineering services remain applicable.
If the Buyer decides to place the same order again within 5 working days, only 50% of the previously retained amount must be paid.
If this period exceeds 5 working days, the original quotation becomes invalid and a new quotation must be issued.
8. Warranty
Products purchased through the official websites benefit from a limited warranty between 6 and 12 months, depending on the product type and specifications.
Warranty conditions apply only when products are used according to technical specifications and operating conditions.
9. Production Tolerances
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Dimensional tolerance: ±15%
Wattage tolerance: ±12.5%
These tolerances are standard within the industrial heating element manufacturing sector.
10. Production and Delivery Time for Special Products
Production time for custom-made or Special Order products ranges between:
3 and 40 working days
excluding transportation time.
11. Obligations and Liability
Technical data and information published on the websites are provided for informational purposes only.
Product images are illustrative.
Caldor Heat Engineering SRL reserves the right to update website content, including technical specifications, images, descriptions, and prices, without prior notice.
The Seller shall not be liable for damages resulting from the use, copying, or display of website content, nor for service interruptions caused by technical failures or server issues.
12. Privacy Policy
Caldor Heat Engineering SRL undertakes not to disclose personal data to third parties.
Personal data is used exclusively for:
customer communication
order processing
account management
service notifications
in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR).

14. Policy Update and Applicability
This Terms and Conditions document was updated on 01/01/2026.
All orders placed from 15/01/2026 onwards are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
By placing an order with Caldor Heat Engineering SRL, the Buyer acknowledges and accepts these conditions.
Claims such as “I did not see”, “I did not read”, or “I was not aware of these conditions” do not constitute valid grounds for dispute and do not create liability for Caldor Heat Engineering SRL.
